Hello Everyone.This is my first blog since joining KBAY fulltime six weeks ago.I made the move from our sister station Z95 after 2 years,and I enjoy the new challenge thats ahead of me.It's been amazing getting to talk to the listeners that call in,and I'm looking forward to meeting more of you in person real soon.I'll update this blog often,so check back for new updates.

On this Memorial Day,I'd like to take time to thank all the veterans for their sacrifice for our Country.Its because of their sacrifice,we have our freedoms today.

 My Grandfather was a veteran from WWII. He served in the European tour in France during 1942-1945.Unlike most WWII veterans,he never spoke of those days.He was wounded during His time,and recieved a Purple Heart. I can only imagine what He saw or experienced,to make Him never speak of His time in the service.My family and I have tried to research his records,but found out all of the records from that time were destroyed from a flood in 1972.I guess some things are better left alone.

 So for the men and women just like Him,Thanks for your service. I will never forget you.
